On Thursday The Howard
Stern show featured our "Hey Ya" cover! Howard
brought the video to the show himself and had some very nice
things to say about the song.

Wednesday, December 26th
Obadiah Parker Live
has been included on iTune's "Best of 2007 Folk" list. The
CD was on their top 10 folk albums for months and "Hey Ya"
is still in and out of the top 10 folk songs. Thanks to
everyone that has bought the album!
Monday, November 12th
We've got some good shows
coming up in the next few weeks including
The House of Blues in
Las Vegas on the 29th.

Wednesday, August 1st
We're trying to win a spot to
play at the Austin City Limits Festival in September and we
need your help! The contest is based on four rounds of
voting by fans and judges. We have from now until August
20th to get as many votes as we can from our fans to make it
to the second round. You can vote every day for each email
address that you have access to. This would be a really
great opportunity for us to play at ACL so we appreciate
your guys' support!

- This Saturday we're
putting on a CD release show at The Clubhouse in Tempe,
AZ. It's going to be a great show. We've got some really
great bands playing, we have a bunch of guest musicians
that are playing with us and we're even playing some new
material including a
brand new original
song that
we're really excited about.

- Our new live CD just
became available for purchase on iTunes! We've been
working really hard on it for a while now and we hope
that you guys enjoy it. Pretty soon we'll have it

Monday, March 26th
- On Friday we're going to
be playing on the main stage at the
Tempe Music
Festival
opening up for Gin Blossoms and Lifehouse. We got a
great slot and it's going to be an awesome show!

Chicago featured our Hey Ya cover on their station and
since then it's been their #1 requested song.

- Wednesday, January 31st
- On February 18th we're
going to play a show at The Sets with an organization
called
Invisible Children
that works with children in Africa. We have a lot of
shows coming up, but this one is special and we'd love
it if you could come and support what they are doing. If
you can't make it there's also going to be a screening
of their documentary on February 15th in Chandler at
Cornerstone.
